Kotharo is made by Focovi, LLC ("Focovi", "we"). These terms cover the Kotharo plugin, the marketplace that serves it, kotharo.com and, once it exists, the hosted service. By installing the plugin or using the site, you agree to them.

The plugin

The Kotharo plugin is licensed under the Functional Source License, version 1.1, with Apache 2.0 as the future license (FSL-1.1-ALv2). The LICENSE file in each release is the license for that release, and nothing on this page narrows it. In short:

• You may use, copy, change and share the plugin for any purpose except a competing use, which the license defines.
• Two years after we make a release available, that release is also yours under the Apache License, Version 2.0.
• Some files carry their own license. The NOTICE file in each release lists them.

The plugin runs on your machine inside Claude Code. Security and privacy says what it does there and which calls it makes.

The marketplace

plugins.kotharo.com serves the marketplace file and the release zips that Claude Code installs from. Each release is under the license it ships with. We may add, change or withdraw releases at any time. Claude Code and the tools Kotharo connects to are other companies' products, and their own terms apply to them.

The hosted service

Paid features will be calls to a service that Focovi hosts. That service is not part of the plugin, is not covered by the plugin's license, and is not available yet. When it launches, it will have its own terms, including pricing, data handling and how to cancel, which you accept before you use it.

The site

You may read, link to and quote kotharo.com, including its docs. The Kotharo name and logo belong to Focovi, LLC, and the license gives no right to use them beyond saying where the plugin came from.

No warranty

The plugin, the marketplace and the site are provided as is, without warranties of any kind, as the license says. To the extent the law allows, Focovi is not liable for any damages that come from using them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page.
