Connects Kotharo to Google Drive and Docs for docs. All adapters

What you need

  • An MCP server for Google Drive and Docs, connected in Claude Code, or the claude.ai Google Drive connector.

Connect

/kotharo:setup finds Google Drive and Docs and takes you through these steps. To connect it by hand:

Your Google Workspace account must be in the Workspace Developer Preview Program. In a Google Cloud project, follow Google's guide (https://developers.google.com/workspace/drive/api/guides/configure-mcp-server): enable drive.googleapis.com and drivemcp.googleapis.com, add the drive.readonly and drive.file scopes, and create a Web application OAuth client with Use this client for an AI-powered agent ticked and http://localhost:3120/callback as a redirect URI. Its client ID replaces <client-id>, and you type its client secret when the command asks.

claude mcp add --scope user --transport http --client-id <client-id> --client-secret --callback-port 3120 google-drive https://drivemcp.googleapis.com/mcp/v1

Or add the claude.ai Google Drive connector, which reaches the same server.

Sign in

Run /mcp in a Claude Code session and sign in with your Google Workspace account.
