What you need
- An MCP server for New Relic, connected in Claude Code.
Connect
/kotharo:setup finds New Relic and takes you through these steps. To connect it by hand:
claude mcp add --scope user --transport http newrelic https://mcp.newrelic.com/mcp/Sign in
An EU or JP account connects https://mcp.eu.newrelic.com/mcp/ or https://mcp.jp.newrelic.com/mcp/ instead of the US host. Run claude mcp login newrelic, or /mcp in a Claude Code session, and sign in to New Relic with OAuth. Your New Relic role needs MCP read permission.
