Connects Kotharo to 1Password for secrets. All adapters

What you need

• The op command, from 1Password CLI.
• The jq command, from jq.

Connect

/kotharo:setup finds 1Password and takes you through these steps. To connect it by hand:

Install 1Password CLI. Its install page covers other systems.

macOS:

brew install 1password-cli

Windows, in Git Bash:

winget install 1password-cli

Linux:

sudo apt update && sudo apt install 1password-cli

Install jq. Its install page covers other systems.

macOS:

brew install jq

Windows, in Git Bash:

winget install jqlang.jq

Linux:

sudo apt-get install jq

Sign in

In the 1Password app, turn on Settings > Developer > Integrate with 1Password CLI, then approve the first op command when the app asks. Without the app, run op signin.

To check you are signed in, run op whoami.
