Connects Kotharo to Semgrep for static analysis. All adapters

What you need

• The semgrep command, from Semgrep.

Connect

/kotharo:setup finds Semgrep and takes you through these steps. To connect it by hand:

Install Semgrep. Its install page covers other systems.

macOS:

uv tool install semgrep

Windows, in Git Bash:

powershell -c "[System.Environment]::SetEnvironmentVariable('PYTHONUTF8', '1', 'User')"
uv tool install semgrep

Linux:

uv tool install semgrep

Sign in

Nothing to sign in to for rules kept in the repo or Semgrep Registry rulesets. Run semgrep login only when the repo's rules need your Semgrep organization.
